Schaetti put new production facilities in Shanghai in operation.

The brand new production plant is an important mile stone for the realization of Schaetti's growth's strategy in the Asian area. Schaetti invested about EUR 8 Mio. in this China project to cover the increasing demand in China.
In April 2009, after only one year's construction period, Schaetti could take the new works successfully in operation. Since that time the industrial production is running without any significant difficulties on the 20'000 m² sized factory which is located on the Shanghai chemical Industrial Park.
In addition to the standard powder production Schaetti offers economic complete solutions from the development of new raw materials up to ground powders. Thus customers' needs are already covered from the development phase on.
In addition to polymerization and production line for finest powders Schaetti also built a state to the art grinding plant with warehouse and a generous office building.
Now Schaetti can produce own Co-Polyamides and Co-Polyesters, finest powders and grind granules in diversified particle sizes – all under one roof.
With 50 employees in a first stage, the production capacities come to 3'500 tons per year.
The total capacity for powder production is dimensioned for 10'000 tons per year.
Besides production the new team, which has been well established in Shanghai for one year is handling all sales and order processing work including shipping and export on site.
The official inauguration of the new factory took place on June 11, 2009 highlighted by great celebrations.
